Saw mixed reviews on this product. I was a little skeptical at first but went ahead a purchased the pens. I really wanted some lettering on my FX45 and didn't want the stick on stencil in the event I got a flat and would have to go through the process of replace or patching the stencil on a new tire. Figured this would be middle ground. As I was applying the pen on my tires I started to experience what one reviewer stated about the pens running out prematurely. First let me state that it's best to apply the pens to your tires with the wheels off the vehicle. That's not to say that you cant do the process with them on. It's just easier with them off and the paint applies better. Also when done, give a day so the paint can dry really well. The reason I did them on was to get a good technique down pack in the event I have to touch up the paint. I chose gold which looks really good has a bit of a metallic thing going too which I though was pretty cool. The key is to keep the pen angled downward and primed gently. When applying Take Your Time!!!. You'll be glad you did. I purchased 2 pens and got all four tires done with a little left for touch ups. I'll be ordering more. Hopes this helps anyone thinking about getting some Tire Ink Penz

Not what was expected.... had to use my finger to get an even coating. Followed all directions exactly how they were written out. My biggest problem was getting the paint to come out of the pen, almost seemed like they need to put more in the pen. Overall the tires look better then before, but I would not order this product again.

This paint won't last. If you want it to stay on your tires and continue looking good despite being regularly driven, you need to regularly clean wheels an re-apply paint because it wears off after a short period. That said it does look pretty good while it's still on. Make sure you clean wheels well with paint thinner or acetone before applying paint if you want it to stay on a little bit better

Looks great on the Car. Did two coats about a week apart. The white starts to fade to a beige after normal driving and dirt settling on the tire.

I bought this to add that classic muscle car look to my 2011 Camaro SS. It sure does add that extra bit of customization that I was looking for. I recommend that you apply this with the tire off the vehicle to prevent running. I applied three coats per tire and it fillies in all the gaps and looks great.

Not a bad product for the price. I would say the best part about the Tire ink pen is that it will work and make your letters white or whatever color you bought.
For those of you who I've already mentioned this my apologies... It is super super important to clean the letters with acetone or some kind of strong cleaner otherwise it will not work very well at all.
The one con I have is the way the pen dispenses the ink. It either will hardly come out and then the next thing you know it's pouring out of it.
If you guys could get this fixed, it will be Top Notch and you would have no competition.

***I repeat you must clean your tire letters before you apply the paint pen.

I used one pen one word one tire. When i received the item i did what the instruction said, when i started writing, pen was screwing up already. I wanted to get a refund but I've already used the item even tho it did not work well.

Great product for what it is! I would definitely follow the instructions and the outcome will turn out nicely. In the photos, the “Dunlop Qualifier” white text was on the tire from the factory and I painted on “Metzeler Tourance”. I was able to paint both sides of the rear tire with one pen and didn’t seem like I was running out at all. From afar the paint looks really nice, up close, maybe a good painter (notike myself) could have done better.
